RWHRMA Tuition Assistance Scholarship

The RWHRMA Tuition Assistance Scholarship is a member benefit created to encourage members of our association to pursue continuing education in the human resource management field.  The winner of the scholarship, determined by the Awards Committee of RWHRMA, will receive a $1,500.00 cash award.  All award decisions will be final.  

Qualifications: 

• Must be a current member of RWHRMA.
• Must be a part-time student who has completed his/her first six hours of undergraduate/graduate work and have at least a 3.0/4.0 GPA.
• Must be pursuing a degree in the human resource/business management field.

Application Procedures:

• All applications must be in writing, with supporting documentation attached. 
• Applications should include the following: 
  • Resume or CV
  • Copy of college transcript showing GPA and standing
  • One letter of reference
  • An essay covering:
    • Participation in RWHRMA programs and activities
    • Special work or contributions in the HR field
    • Participation in school activities/programs
    • Participation in community and/or civic activities/programs
    • Outstanding personal achievements, awards and honors
  • The essay should be no longer than three double spaced, typewritten pages.  Essays will be judged on clarity, grammar, sincerity, and substance.
